im pretty new to this hobby and so far so good but i have a slight problem. anyways, i was crocheting a matching shirts for my two boys and i came to a part in the pattern that said that i should crochet turn. turn where? turn the whole thing? the needle? pls help

hey there, welcome! i'm fairly new to this too but no worries on asking. when turning i am pretty sure it means you flip the piece so you can work on the other side. about the needle, you don't need to do anything! just that.

that's very lovely of you making your two boys matching shirts. I recommend a simple pattern first. you need to check YT and websites for crocheting tutorials, it's so much easier

When the pattern tells you to "turn," it simply means you should flip your work around 180 degrees so you can start crocheting back across the row. Generally, you'll need to chain up to the right height,like chain 1 if you're doing single crochet or chain 3 for double crochet. No need to stress, this is totally normal, and once you get the hang of it, it'll feel really natural
