i'm rumamging the internet for a pattern for a kingsize blanket but i specifically want one that uses 4 different colors and i can't find it. so if anyone of you has any recommendation at all it would be great. but honestly pls don't suggest granny squares multicolor i don't like the way it looks i want something rather pleasing to the eyes like a herringbone. any links pls i can't find herringbone with more than 3 colros.

Hi . I like the idea of a huge kingsize crocheted blanket. The four colors is easy. Just pick a variegated yarn or change colors as you go.

One of the easiest blankets to crochet is a c2c (corner 2 corner). It is worked on a diagonal.

Here is a large sofa version in bright rainbow colors:

I also recommend a granny square blanket. You can make a bunch of smaller granny squares or fewer squares, but each square is relatively large.

A small basic size granny square. Most small ones are four to six colors. Once color per round.

Or you can you a rainbow of colors and make one very large granny square. This is made into a rectangle but same basic pattern.

to make a kingsize blanket with 4 colors and avoid the granny square look you don't like i'd say try looking into chevron or ripple patterns which give off that herringbone vibe you're after but with more color flexibility you could easily alternate 4 colors to get that pleasing effect you're describing just make sure the yarn weight and hook size are consistent to keep it neat as for links you might have more luck searching for free patterns on craft-specific sites like ravelry or just tweaking a 3-color herringbone pattern you find to fit your style hope that helps a bit.

I apologize for showing the granny squares. Hopefully, you will find a good herringbone design.
