need pattern for a doll blanket

I had a friend when I was little, she had this cute little crocheted doll, the body of the doll was in the middle of the blanket, it's a small blanket just around 20" X 20". the body was stuffed and the doll's face, hands & feet were plastic. Is anyone familiar with this doll? I'm thinking about making a similar one. if anyone has this pattern, please share it with me, or tell me where to get the pattern

You can try with the granny square crochet pattern, it's easy and a lot of people are using it for doll blankets

That sounds like a classic lovey doll! I haven't come across that specific pattern recently, but you can definitley take any modern crochet lovey pattern and swap in some vintage plastic doll parts. I'd recommend starting with a straightforward 20"x20" granny square as your base and then building from there.
