Crochet hooks - what do you use?

I have 3 or 4 types of crochet hooks. When I first began, I used the aluminum you can purchase at craft stores for most of my life. Then the pink Tulip crochet hoods are charming. I use them a lot.

Resin hooks and resin/wood hooks are my favorites at this time. I'm using a Furls multicolor resin on this Hexagon Cardigan. I like the body of this style of crochet hook; it's easy on the hands.

What type do you usually use?

got bamcoo and aluminum and use both for various reasons, so i couldn't say which one i like more. I like each one for separate reasons

Oh god that pattern looks so cute, what pattern it is? I'm very new to crocheting and i'm gathering ideas and info. I've never tried crocheting with hook so it's definitely my next challenge :)

same here, so far I've been doing great with this setup so I'm not sure if I need to get more or stay as I am

For comfort, I suggest trying out ergonomic crochet hooks like the Teamoy Ergonomic Crochet Set or Furls Streamline Swirl. They're really comfy for those long crafting sessions, and you can usually find them online or at craft stores like Michaels

Good luck with the Dark Helmet! I'm excited to hear how it goes
