leaf garland project need help

I've been working on a leaf garland crochet project and could use some advice, I'm looking for a pattern that creates a natural, flowing look rather than something too stiff. Has anyone tried different stitch techniques or yarn types to give a more realistic effect? I'd love to see your creations or hear any tips for making the leaves drape nicely please because I've been stressing a whole lot lately

@ashleykayy i just finished a leaf garland with a mix of single and double crochet stitches using soft cotton yarn it gives a nice flowy look not too stiff i found that thinner yarn helps the leaves drape better hope this helps with your stress

Ooooh I love leaf garlands, like you're totally speaking my language right now, try using a cotton linen blend yarn coz it has a soft drape but still holds the shape of the leaves beautifully then do a mix of hdc and dc with some slip stitches in between to shape the veins

You might want to explore patterns that incorporate chains between the main leaf sections. These chains can be little stems, allowing for more movement and drape!

For the yarn, you might want to use a softer, more drapey yarn like a bamboo or a plant-based blend so it naturally falls better!
