I want this thread to be a spot for sweater patterns! I haven't found a great one for me yet. I've crocheted top-down raglan sweaters, but they are bulky and odd around the chest and armholes. Do you have a favorite pattern you'd suggest? What works for you? Are crocheted sweaters always bulky?

asked my friends about this so i can help you... they said daisy&peace has some great sweaters maybe you should try them out! 🌸 this one really looks exquisite by the way

Love this idea, nice having a thread to gather good patterns in one spot. I've had the same issue with top down raglans; they tend to feel stiff in weird places unless the yarn and stitch combo is just right. Personally, I've had better luck with side to side or even bottom up constructions for a better drape.

For less bulk, you can try seamless or fitted patterns with lighter yarns.. top down raglans can be bulky, tho using thinner yarn and smaller hooks helps. I like patterns that shape chest and arm holes better, like those with waist shaping or set in sleeves. Crocheted sweaters could be bulky but choosing the right stitch and yarn definitely makes a huge difference!
