temperature blanket design ideas?

My mom is talking about making a temperature blanket all the time during this whole week. idk, when she wants something, she'll keep talking about it lol. I want to give her temperature blanket design ideas (so she would focus on working on it, not talking about it haha). I'd like to see the pattern you guys have for the ideas, thanks in advance

Temperature blankets are my next diy project As far as i know and have seen on the internet i really like the one with stripes, hexagons, granny sqares, waves and corner to corner. also, if she wants to be more creative she can go with temperature mandala or low cabin style. I would like to see what she created

I came here for the same idea! A friend began making one this year with just a simple stripe pattern! So she assigned a color to each temperature range and would weave in the color for the high temperature of the day then add a thinner stripe for the low temperature. She showed me her progress once when were on a video call. It looked really nice!

So, you make a line of yarn in a color to represent that day's average or high temperature. Like a blue for 32°F?
