Hello ^^ If you have any idea where I can get a free crochet pattern for a hooded cowl, I'd like one please. I would prefer something with a mock neck/turtleneck? I'm planning to go on vacation in Taiwan and I heard it's still very cold there right now.

There are plenty of free crochet patterns for hooded cowls with a turtleneck or mock neck. Have you checked Ravelry or Pinterest? They usually have a great selection or you can take a look at blogs like Moogly or AllFreeCrochet. Since you're heading to Taiwan and expecting cold weather, a wool or alpaca blend might be a great choice for warmth. Nice project by the way, perhaps we could get pictures when you're done?

A great pattern for this would be one that uses a simple stitch, like the half double crochet or even the moss stitch. This will make it a quick and easy project to finish before your trip.
When you're looking for a pattern with a mock or turtleneck, just look for one that has a long section at the base of the neck.
You can even take a regular hooded cowl pattern and just add more rows to the neck to make it taller
