so I've been trying to copy off a pattern my friend bought for me (she said it's her starting gift for me so we can already bond but I'm not sure how to do that SHE'S ALREADY SUPER ADVANCED). so, i just wanna ask you guys because I'm confused about this one thing here. round 3 is super confusing because it asks me to do some sp. I don't even know what an sp is? what is it please can you help?

Hi there. And sp is a space between to other stitches or sets of stitches.
In a granny square there are 3 double crochet, space, 3 double crochet. (3 dc, sp, 3dc)

I agree with this comment, sp stands for space. It means the open space for the stitches. Anyway, good luck grandma!

SAM is a grandma. Screen names can be deceiving. ;)
